“But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.” I Corinthians 12:18
Don’t you just hate it when people use you? Well God wants to use you and it pleases Him when He can. Do you feel used?

“But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.” I Corinthians 12:18
God has set the members in the body. Therefore God should be able to use the members. Pray that you may be used.

Each one of you have value and add something to the body of Christ. Though it isn’t a common practice in the church these days, we have what we call body ministry time in our church service. It is a time for those who have a word, revelation, encouragement and even a reproof for the body to be able to speak up for the Lord. From my experience of being a pastor for over 15 years I can tell you that there is a risk to opening up a church service for such a time as body ministry because people can speak in the flesh. I want to say though that it is worth the risk. For the body of Christ to ever function as she should it takes participation from the body. So saint of God, don’t put pressure on your pastor to open up the service for a time of body ministry. Instead, seek God, attend church full of love. If the majority of the body will do this it can open your pastor’s heart to have confidence in the body to minister to each other under the leadership of the Holy Spirit.
“Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth. 13Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance.” II Peter 1:12-13
We will always be learning more of Christ and getting deeper revelation of Him through reading His Word. We never get to the place where there is nothing more to learn. But as we continue to stay in the Word of God, we just don’t learn more, but we find it to be a constant reminder on how we are to live in the kingdom of God. We tend to forget so easy, so keep on reading the Word so the principles of the kingdom of God stay fresh in your heart and mind.
“And he asked for a writing table, and wrote, saying, His name is John. And they marvelled all. 64And his mouth was opened immediately, and his tongue loosed, and he spake, and praised God. ” Luke 1:63-64
There really is not much difference between the man who can talk and the man who can’t talk, until their tongue is “loosed” by God. Speaking under the authority and power of the Holy Spirit is the only way talking will set people free.
“Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. 5And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.” Luke 5:4-5
Notice that Jesus said “let down your nets,” but Peter only let down a “net?” Don’t short change the promises and blessings of God.
“Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake.” (Luke 6:22)
Strong faithful believers never have a difficult time staying separate from the world, for the world excludes them from joining them.
“For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.” Isaiah 57:15
It is our tendency to try to fix or even throw away broken things. Our society for the most part just throws money and programs at broken people to get them out of their hair. The only answer for broken people is Almighty God. Brokenness is His specialty. He takes broken lives and makes them better than brand new.

Are you broken? Do you feel useless? Then you are a great candidate for revival. God revives the heart of the “contrite ones.” Contrite means, crushed and to crumble. The world looks for the best people they can find. God looks for the broken. Hallelujah!
“Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” Psalm 16:11
The greatest purpose of man is to give glory to God. The greatest pleasure of man is to be in the presence of the Lord.
