Bless Your House

By | Eyesalve

And all the people departed every man to his house: and David returned to bless his house.” I Chronicles 16:43

David had the ark brought into Jerusalem the proper way and there was much celebration. There was much praise offered up to God. Then he went home and blessed his family. I wonder how many, when they go home from church, bless their family. I fear that to many go home and complain about the service. Why is that? One reason is because there may be an absence of the presence of God. When the presence of God is in our meetings, our praise will be genuine and our hearts will be made glad. Then we can’t help, but to go home and bless all those around us.

Eyesalve: What Men Give

By | Eyesalve

For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.” John 12:43

Those who want the praise of men and not the praise of God, want what men give and not what God gives.

Eyesalve: All The Day

By | Eyesalve

“Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day.” Ps. 71:8

Some Christians may say that this verse is an exaggeration. Who can praise and honor God all day long? If you know a man that is going to be marrying a virgin that he loves, ask him who is on his mind. Ask the family who is going on a great vacation in a few days what their minds are on. Ask young children a few days before Christmas what they are thinking about. You can’t help but to think about and ponder on that which you are excited about.

Eyesalve: Shout, Not Complain

By | Eyesalve

“And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.” Josh. 6:5

We believers can face many Jericho’s in our life, but it doesn’t matter because God will be there for us. Just remember this, the walls of Jericho went down because the people shouted, not complained. Your walls too, will come down with a shout of praise and honor unto the Lord.
