Generation To Come

By | Eyesalve

Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ minister, saying,” Joshua 1:1

Thank God there was another man who God called to lead and who God would talk to in the generation that followed after Moses. We have had men in decades past who have led Christ’s church and have had the Lord talk to them. Thank God we have such men today in our generation. I have a question for the young saints. Will there be such men in the next generation to come?

Eyesalve: Precious to God

By | Eyesalve

Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.” Psalm 116:15

It is precious to the Lord when any of His saints pass on to go and be with Him. It is also precious to the Lord when those of us who are still living die to our old nature. You may have wondered why you seem to get more than your share of trials and temptations. Well it is because it is precious to the Lord to watch you die.

Eyesalve: It’s Coming to a Head

By | Eyesalve

So the king and Haman came to banquet with Esther the queen…. 10So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king’s wrath pacified….1On that day did the king Ahasuerus give the house of Haman the Jews’ enemy unto Esther the queen…” Esther 7:1,10, 8:1

The final showdown is soon to take place. The king (Jesus), Haman (Satan) and Esther the queen (the bride of Christ), are all in one room. There, Esther pleads for the life of her people. Haman, a man who hated the Jews was a man who was promoted over all the officials, just as Satan who hates God’s people was given this world to rule. There is coming a day when it will all come to a head. God will cast Satan into an eternal hell, and Christ the king will give His bride authority to rule and reign with Him. Be encouraged today oh saints of God.

Eyesalve: Spiritual Refreshing

By | Eyesalve

I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they have supplied. 18For they have refreshed my spirit and yours: therefore acknowledge ye them that are such.” I Corinthians 16:17-18

Let your coming to the fellowship of believers be not of backbiting and complaining, but instead bring along a supply of spiritual refreshment for the saints.

Eyesalve: Deeper Knowledge of God

By | Eyesalve

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:” Eph. 4:11-13

Ministers are called to perfect, edify and bring saints to a deeper knowledge of God, they are not called to keep the peoples religion going.

Eyesalve: An Unclean Place

By | Eyesalve

“Now if the plague comes back and breaks out in the house, after he has taken away the stones, after he has scraped the house, and after it is plastered, 44then the priest shall come and look; and indeed if the plague has spread in the house, it is an active leprosy in the house. It is unclean. 45And he shall break down the house, its stones, its timber, and all the plaster of the house, and he shall carry them outside the city to an unclean place. 46Moreover he who goes into the house at all while it is shut up shall be unclean until evening.” Lev. 14:43-46

If the Spirit of God does His work to purge any particular church of her carnal ways, but that church persists in her ways, it is no different than being infected with leprosy. Just as a house that has walls infected with leprosy has to be destroyed, so must the church that has spiritual leprosy. I am not talking about destroying the church building, I am talking about bringing an end to the gathering of those saints. When rebellious carnal people meet it infects those who enter and does more to make them unclean than clean.

Eyesalve: Are You Departing (#2)

By | Eyesalve

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;” I Tim. 4:1

Only those who are born again through faith can depart from faith. We believers are warned, that in these last days, there will be Christians who will depart from faith in God. There is not one of us reading this that is beyond falling away. May I encourage you all to strengthen your walk in the Lord? Following are signs that may indicate you are in the process of departing from the faith or already have. (Sign number 2).

2. If church becomes a chore for you attend and you have little to no desire to be with the saints. One exception is it could be that your church is dead.

Eyesalve: Why I Love Going to Church (Reason #2)

By | Eyesalve

“Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.” Acts 12:5

When you belong to a church you have the peace of knowing that the saints will be praying for you when you really need it. Those independent of the church have none to very little prayer support.

Eyesalve: Called To Be Saints

By | Eyesalve

“To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.” Rom. 1:7

You know that Jesus said, “many are called, but few are chosen.” Maybe you view being called and not chosen as something negative or discouraging. Well don’t be discouraged, insulted or offended by that, for you have a great privilege. You are CALLED TO BE A SAINT. Are you content with that?

Eyesalve: Did He Hear Your Voice

By | Eyesalve

“And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:” Re. 19:1

John heard the voices of people from a time yet to come. He heard the voices of all the raptured saints. Did He hear your voice?
